Negative keywords are an important part of any successful Google Ads campaign. They help you control the traffic that comes to your website and ensure that you are only targeting relevant users. In this article, we will show you how to add negative keywords from all ad groups to a new ad group in Google Ads Editor.

Google Ads Editor is a powerful tool for managing your campaigns and making changes quickly and easily. It can save you time when adding negative keywords from multiple ad groups into one new ad group. Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Open the Google Ads Editor

The first step is to open the Google Ads Editor on your computer. To do this, go to the Tools menu at the top of your screen and select “Google Ads Editor” from the drop-down list. This will open up a new window with all of your campaigns listed on the left side of the screen.

Step 2: Select Your Campaigns

Next, select all of the campaigns that contain negative keywords that you want to add into one new ad group by clicking on each campaign name in turn (you can also use Ctrl+A or Command+A on Mac). This will highlight all of those campaigns so they are ready for editing.

Step 3: Select “Copy & Paste” From The Edit Menu

Now go up to the Edit menu at the top of your screen and select “Copy & Paste” from this list (or press Ctrl+C or Command+C). This will bring up a pop-up window where you can choose which items (such as ads, keywords, etc.) you want to copy over into another campaign or ad group. In this case, we want to copy over our negative keywords so make sure they are selected in this window before clicking “OK” at the bottom right corner of it.

Step 4: Create A New Ad Group For Your Negative Keywords

Now create a new ad group by going back up to Edit > Add > Ad Group and entering its name into this box before clicking “OK” again at bottom right corner of it. This will create an empty space where we can paste our copied negative keywords later on once we have finished selecting them from our other campaigns/ad groups (this is important as it prevents us from accidentally deleting any existing ones).

Step 5: Select The Negative Keywords You Want To Copy Over

Go back down through each campaign/ad group containing negative keywords until you find those that need copying over into our newly created ad group – click each keyword individually while holding down either Ctrl or Command key (depending on which operating system) until they are highlighted blue – then click Copy & Paste again as per Step 3 above but make sure now that only “Keywords” is selected before pressing OK button again at bottom right corner of pop-up window!

Step 6: Paste The Copied Negative Keywords Into Our New Ad Group

Finally go back up once more through Edit > Copy & Paste menu option but now make sure only “Ad Groups” is selected – then press OK button again before finally pasting these copied negative keywords into our newly created empty space by pressing Ctrl+V or Command+V keys together depending upon operating system used! And voila – there we have successfully added all necessary negative words across multiple campaigns/ad groups within just few simple steps!
